The Archive is a library of aged and/or blended beers with a carefully recorded history. Barrel 16 was the first barrel to mature from an Imperial Stout brew on 10.22.21. After fermentation, the beer was racked into twenty different barrels of varying spirit, wood, and size. Barrel 16 was a 30 gallon Coppersea Rye Barrel.
On 9.21.22 we determined the beer to be fit for imminent release and prepared for the first bottling. This batch is limited to 60 bottles, only sold to Wylde in Hudson, NY, and released exclusively for Winter Walk on 12.03.22. We hope you enjoy.
Assertive aroma and deep, lasting flavor. A complex combination of cherry, rye spice, chocolate, molasses, wood, whisky warmth and sweet vanilla prominent throughout. Long, thoughtful finish.
